Today it is with deep sorrow that I write this page on behalf of the faculty, staff and students of CCC ACE and CJC ACE.
We share in the lost of a student, a brother, a friend, and a beloved son.
There is no explanation as to why Josh Deng, age 17, is gone today but we can only feel some peace in the knowledge that he has gone home to be with His Father.
For one so young to lose his life just two months before graduation is hard but when we hear that he was living in Corozal with his younger brother and taking care of the family business while his father battles with cancer in China is far more than we can take. Today he was to be leaving for China to see his sick father.
Farewell, Josh. Your smile and your joyful ways will not be forgotten.
Rest in peace, dear friend.
God is with you.
